He has held P&L responsibility, helped on mergers & acquisition teams, developed strategic business plans and continuously increased profitability for his diverse clients and employers. In one case a 5,000% increase in sales, in another case a cost savings of $40 million, in another a change in messaging increased sales to over $25 million and 70% market share.
With an abundance of international experience within APAC, ANZ, EMEA, LATAM and NORAM; Rory has a strong understanding of various markets such as commercial aerospace/aviation and related telecommunications industries. He has also successfully assembled and managed diverse multi-cultural teams across international borders.
Rory has established himself as a thought leader in the fields of strategic planning and business development. He is also a best-selling author with several of his published books within the top 20 Amazon.com best seller lists including, “In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity,” which placed at #19 on the Amazon best seller list for all their books on aviation.
Rory is a frequent guest speaker and lecturer, and his perspectives have been featured in various newspaper, radio and television news reports on ABC, NBC, CBS, NWCN, KKNW, The Bellevue Business Journal, The Seattle Times, and others. He also enjoys his annual adventures teaching university students a portion of their Master’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering program in Brazil.

Rory is a US Navy Veteran and was honorably discharged as a Petty Office First Class (ET1). While in the Navy he held a security classification of “Secret”. He is also an inventor with three issued US Patents and has other patents pending.
Currently, Rory is Founder and Principal of a private consulting firm, Briski Consulting, LLC, which he started in 2009. Rory is responsible for developing and spearheading initiatives for companies with whom he and his team works to dramatically reduce costs, grow market share and increase profitability.
